Sunday, February 7, 2011. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! I can store many craft supplies in here and not have to see any of them when I'm not playing! The main piece is the Expedit room divider by Ikea ($129). I added 8 doors ($20 each) and 8 two drawer units ($35 each). My total cost was only $569! The chest stands 5 feet high and 5 feet wide; it is about 16 inches deep. One of the many great things is that I can rearrange the doors and draws (move them to different places in the chest) to suit my needs. I was also able to purchase this in pieces so I did not have a big out of pocket expense all at once. Craft furniture is not cheap but by creating my own I saved a ton. The rolling drawer units on either side are from Rubbermaid and they were intended for Christmas ornament storage. I have only seen them in a store once (Dec. of 2007).
