Friday, November 25, 2011.  Leroy Earl had a tummy bug this week.  In the 4.5 years since he adopted me he has NEVER been sick.  This Momma was worried.  We went to the doggie ER last Saturday and I'm glad we did.  He got some i.v. fluids and big-time antibiotics for the bacterial infection.  He's feeling much better now but he spent 2 days sleeping in the Momma's bed.  He was so cute with his head propped up on the pillow.  When he climbed into bed Saturday I had stripped the linens and I didn't have the heart to move him to put a case on the pillow.  Now everyone is healthy and the bed is made.  I'm thankful for veterinarians!
